The Most Awesome Girls' Weekend EVAH!

Before Kyle was born, a friend from college and I used to meet in Hot Springs (a half way point between us) and spend the weekend shopping and eating and hanging out together. Those girls only weekends were so great!

This past weekend, I got to do it again! Five of us headed to Little Rock for the WinterJam concert. It was SO great!!! Kyle went with his Youth group at church, but I never saw him. They don't sell tickets to these concerts, you have to wait in line. We were so fortunate, because they closed the door behind us about two minutes after we got in. It was an amazing concert!!! Before the concert, we went to eat at Appleby's, then checked into our hotel room, then headed out for the long wait, which was totally worth it. After the concert, we made a run for a Rally's burger and headed back to the hotel room...taking the scenic route, no less. Which made for lots of giggles and jokes. Since the navigator was using her smart phone as a GPS, I made the comment that, "there must not be an app for that" after the fourth wrong turn. We did eventually get back to the hotel to eat. Then the next day, we went shopping. LOVED IT!!!

I found me some blingy sunglasses, a sweater, and a pair of sandals with butterflies on them. I hope that we get to do this again this Summer, because it would be such a blast! I can't believe that it had been so long since I've done this, and yeah, no pictures. Even though I did have my camera....fail.
